Religion and ethics

At Sackville Street Public School, Special Religious Education (SRE) is delivered on Tuesday's from 1.55pm-2.25pm for K-2 students and from 2.30pm-3.00pm for Years 3-6 students. 

During the online enrolment  parents/carers are given the opportunity to select SRE participation.  After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be given to the office, in writing.

SEE is provided in some schools by Primary Ethics. We do not currently hold SEE at Sackville Street Public School.

During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities such as quiet reading, drawing or quiet activities with their peers.
