Hello and thank you for your interest in our school. On behalf of our school community, I’d like to welcome you to learn more about our wonderful school and all that it has to offer. Located on the lands of the Dharawal people we acknowledge and respect that they were the first teachers and learners at this site.
Sackville Street Public School to me is not just a job, it is part of my life. I can tell you from the heart that we never tire of thinking about and pursuing excellence for this school. We are dedicated to ensuring that high quality teachers, leaders and support staff on our team to guide the development of the whole child is supported, challenged and nurtured. With a high staff retention rate our school benefits from consistency and commitment.
We are truly fortunate to benefit from a supportive parent community, with many volunteers who provide many opportunities for our students.

Wellbeing and support staff
Our wellbeing and support staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child. To that end we provide a range of experiences and programs that cater for our high potential students who excel academically, creatively or on the sporting field. We provide special interest opportunities, experiences in cultural diversity and opportunities for meaningful play. Our learners who required additional assistance for their development or in learning English, are well supported.
Administrative and operations staff
Our administrative and operations staff keep our school running smoothly. They support students, teachers and families every day. You can find them in our front office or on the school grounds.
